For this family home, we designed a new build that drew heavily on the quiet elegance of Georgian architecture, carefully blending classical proportion with relaxed country living. We focused on symmetry, considered ceiling heights and balanced room layouts to echo traditional Georgian principles, while introducing softer, rural elements to ensure the house felt warm and lived-in rather than formal.

Original-style cornicing and panelled walls were incorporated to establish a sense of heritage, while natural materials such as timber flooring, hardware and handcrafted cabinetry grounded the interiors in a country aesthetic. A muted, nature-led palette connected the home to its surrounding landscape, creating harmony between interior and exterior.

By layering architectural detailing with textured fabrics, bespoke joinery and carefully curated furnishings, we tied together Georgian refinement and countryside character, resulting in a timeless family home that felt both established and entirely contemporary.
