Brynseion - Four Bedroom Luxury Holiday Home

Nestled within the mountains of West Wales, we designed this holiday home as a calm architectural retreat, where Japanese-inspired minimalism meets the rugged beauty of the surrounding landscape. The interior palette is grounded in rich oak, deep charcoal tones and tactile natural materials, creating spaces that feel both dramatic and restorative.

At the heart of the home, we designed a striking bespoke oak staircase, crafted with clean lines and sculptural simplicity. Every piece of joinery throughout the home is bespoke, thoughtfully designed to create a seamless flow between spaces while celebrating craftsmanship. The warmth and natural grain of the oak provide a beautiful contrast against the darker palette, bringing balance and texture to the interiors.

We designed the kitchen with a refined, moody aesthetic, pairing seamless black cabinetry with warm oak, natural stone and understated detailing. Influenced by Japanese design principles, the space embraces simplicity, balance and timeless materials, allowing the quality of the craftsmanship to speak for itself.

To complement the living spaces, we created a dedicated cinema room that offers an intimate retreat. Layered lighting, bespoke cabinetry and rich textures combine to create a luxurious space for relaxation and entertaining.

The result is an interior that feels quietly luxurious, minimal yet warm, contemporary yet timeless, and deeply connected to its setting in the Welsh mountains.
